5 bulbs 1 wire

5 bulbs 1 wire

I am about to make a lamp with 5 bulbs on it...how so I make all 5 run off of 1cord and controlled by 1lamp switch?

You need two wires for a bulb to work. Not really enough details or clearly explained questions to really answer you. Tell us more about what you are doing.

If you are using zip cord inside the fixture, you will run it in parallel to each bulb socket. That is the hot (one with no ribs) will connect to the hot connector on each socket, while the neutral (one with ribs) will connect to the neutral of the bulb socket. You will supply power to all equally.
