light kit for celing fan

Can someone tell me what this is called (and where it can be bought)? I went to change my light on the ceiling fan and thought it would be unscrew, connect a different wire, and rescrew. However the old ceiling fan are connected by more of a plug thing and I thought that it might be easier if I could just go buy two of these, crimp them on the new light, and just plug them in the ceiling fan. However, when I went to lowes I didn't see anything that looked like it and I have no idea the name or how to describe it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Cut them off the old light kit and wire nut them on to the new lights and plug them in.

Thanks for your response.

i know I can just cut it, but it almost seemed easier to just attach that connector and plug it in. Is it possible to just buy those connectors?

It's a crimp on contact for a connector, probably either Molex or AMP, but there are a *lot* of different sizes and types.

Digikey lists 4000 different contacts in the category:

Rectangular Connectors - Contacts | Connectors, Interconnects | DigiKey

IIWM, I'd either cut and splice what's on there, or just use mating fully insulated push on connectors or bullet connectors.
