Adding light kit to Heritage 52" ceiling fan E106716-1

I am trying to add a light kit to my Heritage 52" ceiling fan E106716-1. Attached to the bottom of the fan is a light connection box with a mass of wiring. There is a white wire marked "For light kit connection", but no black wire or ground wire.

The white wire comes out of a connector which has three other white wires. One of these goes to a small black sealed box labeled "Watson, AC 250V, 4.75uf +/- 5%, Max T 79 degrees C." A red wire comes out of this box, through a connector, with another much smaller gauge red wire coming out of the connector and going into the fan. I would have expected there to be an additional black or red wire from this connector marked "for light kit connection".

There is no black wire connection that I can see anywhere that would connect to the light kit.

Instructions on how to proceed?
