Fluorescent light trips GFCI breaker on a different circuit
I have an 8' T12 HO fluorescent fixture in my garage, wired to a (non-GFCI) lighting circuit. I had to replace the ballast with an 'improved' electronic one. Now, when I turn the light on, one of my GFCI-protected receptacle circuits trips (sometimes immediately, sometimes after a minute or so). All of the threads I've found with related issues seem to have the light on the GFCI circuit - not my case.
The GFCI breaker is 30 years old. Another one (same age) does not trip. Both GFCI circuits are in the garage.
Any suggestions appreciated.
