I'm hoping for help with installing a digital timer to control an outdoor light.
The switch for the light is wired at the end of run an so there is no neutral at the switch -- which the timer needs. However, there is another switch in the same box which controls our bathroom light and is wired in the middle of the run. The switches are connected to separate breakers in a pony panel which connects back to a single breaker in the main box for the house. The specific model of timer is the Defiant Daylight Adjusting Digital Timer.
Can I connect the digital timer to the neutral on the bathroom light switch?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Cheers,
Simon
