Light pendant 12v - double wiring?
Hello,
I am changing a couple kitchen light pendants (halogen 12volt bulbs). I did the first just fine, but I found the second one -which kept blowing bulbs for years- to have 2 cables instead of one connected to the small transformer (see pic). Was I getting twice the voltage (220v) into the transformer? Should I make dead ends of one set by insulating the terminals, and connect the remaining one? I'm quite novice on these matters, will appreciate much your help.

No you were not doubling the voltage. Likely the extra wires went to your other light fixture.
