Wiring exhausts fan and bathroom light

Is it possible to wire a bathroom light and exhaust fan to turn on at the same time but have the option of turning off the fan if needed? Light and fan are currently independent and on separate switches. Our problem is sounds carry down the hall and guests don't think to turn on the fan for privacy but I'd like the option of turning off the fan too

Maybe a toggle or timer option?

Welcome to the forums! Having your cake and eating it too may be difficult. Specialty timer switching may be available, but having two switches operating each one is the best solution. One finger can turn them both on or only one on.

Thank you! The row of options at the home improvement store for a switch was more complicated than I thought it would be. Thank you for clarifying what is possible.

For now, I am going to try a timer switch. The need to force users to use the exhaust fan to remove moisture and sounds outweighs the alternative.
