Unable to get pendant light apart
Well this is an embarrassing first post. I moved into a house that has pendant lights over the kitchen counter. One of the lights went out, and for the life of me I am unable to get this thing open to change the bulb. I'm trying to attach some pics to look at. The bezel side with the glass is fixed, the back canister moves slightly but does not "screw off". Any suggestions would be highly welcome because I've been staring at it for a week now. The holes in the back are where I unscrewed the support cables. Upon doing that, the nuts on the other side fell off and are rattling around inside the canister shape.

If I had to take a WAG, I'd say the bezel is spring-fit. Put a wide slender tool such as a small screwdriver, butter knife or putty knife into the gap between the can and bezel and gently pry/twist to try and separate them. I highly doubt it would be a screw-on, unless it screws together at the top "step" where the big can meets the smaller dome.... But that would be very odd.

This might be what Taz was referring to, but I would start here (green circle) Try turning (lefty loosie) , or pulling down, the part that holds in the glass.

If that didn't work I would unscrewing the red circled part or the yellow circled part

Thanks for you responses. The fit between the bezel and the body was so tight, I had to use a knife edge to get in there, which allowed me to fit a putty knife, but it still wouldn't come off. So the putty knife widened it up enough for a regular screw driver, then it finally popped out. I give whoever designed this light an F. And to Taz420, I give an A. Thanks for everyone commenting.
