Is this electrical box fan rated?
Can anyone tell me if this electrical box is fan rated? I do think a fan was once installed here (note the faint concentric ring around the box, and the fan/light wiring is in place). Thank you for your help!

Welcome to the forums.
That box comes with attached studs and you use the supplied nuts for the fixture.
That is a type of fan box.
However....that is a pancake box that is screwed into the bottom of the joist.
Make sure those screws are long enough to hold the box attached to the joist.
