Replacement for wall-mounted bathroom fan

Hi all. I have a basement bathroom in which the bathroom fan is mounted in the wall and I'm stumped on finding a replacement. See attached photos - with cover and without cover showing a cylinder-type fan mounted within the exhaust pipe. The fan is old and has recently gotten a lot louder, so I'm looking to replace it with a new quieter model. The problem is I can't find a replacement. I showed the pictures to the local Home Depot and Lowes staff and they were stumped as well. I can't find one online either. Any idea where I can find such a replacement fan? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

It's possible and may be easier to just replace the fan motor.

What you are looking for is a thru+the+wall+exhaust

Thanks Pete! I guess I wasn't searching using the correct name. This is very helpful.

Some of the thru the wall fans are designed for kitchens and move higher air volumes then a bathroom fan might.

This one uses a twist lock motor mount and it may fit into your housing.
