Connecting LED festoon lights

Hi
i bought 2 festoon led lights on a cable and I want to connect them together. I have crimper and butt connectors and heat shrink so I can connect them. My question is , is it safe to do so? I am asking since both cable has a little adapters and I need to cut out one of them.

You would have to measure the current draw of a single string to see if one adapter could run both.
Then you need to make sure that you have the correct wiring at the end of the first string.

LED light strings uses series and parallel wiring.

I'd say that if there is not a dummy end/ connector on the end of the strings.... they should not be connected together.
