Pulsing ceiling fan light

Pulsing ceiling fan light

Moved into our home recently. Has bonus room addition. Ceiling fan switch works. When I turn on the light the HE bulbs do nothing, but a normal bulb pulsates (but never lights up). Looking for thoughts before I begin taking it apart.

Welcome to the forums.

Most ceiling fans specify incandescent bulbs only.
The dimmer can be damage by CFL or LED bulbs being used.

It clearly has bad wiring or contacts. I would try replacing the whole light kit if not the entire ceiling fan.

I highly doubt the entire fixture is bad or has bad wiring. It is more likely what PJ posted, wrong type of lamp for the fixture/dimmer.
