3 way switching a ceiling fan/light
Hello all. This is my first time on this forum and I really would appreciate any help you all can offer. I am currently in the process of installing a new ceiling fan/light in the living room. I would like to operate both the light and fan from two locations (3 way switch) with one of those switches being a Lutron dual slide switch (dimmer/speed) and on the other side just a dual toggle switch one to control the light the other the fan. (no dimmer or speed control on this side) I am having a hell of a time trying to figure this one out. Ive attached a drawing of what I have. Thanks again in advance

sorry folks my drawing for some reason is way too small to see.....so much for the drawing ...anyway, the I have 14/3 wire going from the fan to the first box (where the feed is and where im looking to install the dual slide switch) I then have 14/3 wire going from the first box to the second box (where I would like the two toggle switches) as for the actual fan/light controller it has 4 wires coming from it.....green, black, red, yellow. hope that helps thanks again.

Welcome to the forums.
You can't use a dual slide switch and a dual toggle switch together in a three way application. If you were able to control the fan from two hard wired locations...... you'd need two 14-3 cables. One for the fan and one for the light.
If you were to use a dual toggle switch in conjunction with the dual dimmer...... either one could control the fan and light but if one is on..... the other couldn't shut it off. It would not be a three way system. If you had the light toggle on..... the fan would be full bright and the dimmer would be bypassed. Same with the fan.
So time to reconsider the options.
