ceiling fan rotation issue

ceiling fan rotation issue
Recently replaced 4 ceiling fans on a sheltered outdoor deck, the new fans came with wall mount remote controls which I elected not to use , the first 3 fans rotate in the "summer" direction which is what I want, the 4th fan rotates in the "winter" direction. Manufacturer tech support suggested to install the remote in the 4th fan and change the direction. I did so but when I remove the remote it reverts back to the original direction, Tech support has no solution. Is there a wiring modification I can make to reverse the rotation direction?

There may be a wiring change you can make but a wiring diagram as well as a make and model of the fan would be needed.

The fan is a Kichler 330150, I do no have a wiring diagram. Someone suggested that I reverse the wiring, black to white and white to black but I am reluctant to do that.

I don't understand this whole situation. This fan cost over $300.00 has only remote control operation and has no rotation selection.
What is special about these fans?
I have several fans in my home, none of which cost more than $50. All have separate switches for both fan and light. They all have rotation switches to go from summer to winter. And they all have the option to add remote operation. AND they all move the air.
I don't mean to be a smart alec, but return the fans and go to HD or LOWES and buy fans that have the option you want for a lot less money.

Page 11 of what I believe is your fan.
This control system is NOT designed to "Reverse" the rotation of the blades. To set the fan blades in reverse, the reverse slide switch is located on the top of the Motor Housing. See Fig. 23

Hi, page 11 item 20 shows how to reverse the rotation for a mdl# 330150 fan, post a pic of the remote you are using.
Unless I am missing something.

P/S my first post was wrong

Geochurchi...I think you have the wrong manual also. I looked at what came from the Kichler site 54 Inch Sola Fan MWH Second PDF item down in the lower right for the manual. None of your references are there and there is no switch shown either in the drawings or the pics of the fan.
Jackpat...though you may not want to...reversing the wiring might be the only option (if it works)...or going back to the remote. Why the resistance to using the remote? Is it like having one to turn on the TV and another for the cable box kinda thing?

Don't bother as it won't make a bit of difference in the direction of rotation.
