Identifying A Halogen Tube

I don't see any writing on the bulb and haven't been able to get it out without using a enough force to risk breaking it. It is about 4" long and ľ" in diameter with spade contacts at each end. It is in a floor lamp (tourche?sp?).

If it's a bit over 4" long it's probably a T3. To remove them you shouldn't just pull. There are spring loaded pins on each end going into sockets in the bulb. Push the bulb to one end and tip the other end up and out.

Thanks. I believe you are correct. Could see a lot better with a flash light. Off to find an LED replacement
