DIY Light Fixture & Outlet

I'm in the process of building a DIY light fixture and am a bit confused on codes and if this is legal and okey what I am doing. I've built a recessed light out of wood with 8 6W bulbs in recessed lights, using NM cable I have connected them in parallel, there are NM clamps at each junction box and the lights are rated for IC contact with the wood. The smaller lights are deck lights that are self contained with their own power supply. The recessed lights are connected with a 3 prong power supply cable supplying power. This whole fixture will sit about 6in below the ceiling suspended.
Now to connect this to where my old light fixture was I took down the light and there was a 4x4 metal junction box. To add two outlets I used a metal plate that goes over the box and provides two outlets.
My question is, is this all legal and code correct, the light fixture and the outlet in the ceiling, from what I know this all seems correct. (The outlet cover will be secured to the junction box)

Attached are some photos for clarification

Thanks in advance.

Ceiling Recepticle Install, Correct??

In reference to my previous post, I got clarification that it was okey to have a ceiling receptacle...now I just want to make sure it is done correctly, there is a square 4x4 box and I installed a grounded outlet with a metal cover plate. It is recessed currently about 1" into the ceiling....

Thanks again for any and all help

I'd say OK by electrical code. Not OK by fire code if this ceiling is supposed to be rated (depends on construction type and what is above and below). If it's a rated ceiling, you need to replace the industrial raised cover with a mud ring cover and fill the gap with drywall mud.

Your wring seems correct but I would suggest hard wired, a plaster ring, and a blank cover with a hole drilled in it. and rubber grommet in hole.
