Source for coil cord for adjustable-height lamp?

I'm rewiring an adjustable-height lamp that was wired with an 18/2 (5/8" width) coil cord and can't seem to find a source for the wire. I've found a few similar products online, but none seem like quite the right thing. Some are labeled for use with garage door openers, but the manufacturers don't provide dimensions and I'm not sure they're decent quality. Others, like these are way too wide when coiled for my application. I'd appreciate any ideas.

Welcome to the forums.

No... You don't want SJ/O type cords as that is thick rubber.
Most of the coiled AC cords are sold directly to lamp manufacturers for installation on their products.
Some pendants use a coiled cord.
This site may help you.... .pendant systems/wire-and-stock-cord-charts

I think I might have found a replacement coil cord here, but after conferring with the lamp experts over at Grand Brass Lamp I concluded that it would make more sense to just use one simple lamp cord that runs from the socket to the wall plug. That way, when we make the lamp taller, the cord will just pull up into the base and shorten slightly.

My only concern is that these height adjustments might put a strain on the wire connections. Hopefully the underwriter's knot under the socket will guard against that.
