Problem with fan motor wire diagram

Hello all,

I was hoping someone here would know the answer to this. I have a motor I need to wire for a large drum fan. It is a 115v fan with 2 speeds. There are six connectors which are: L1 L2 Ground Common Hi Lo. What should I do? There is continuity between L2 and Common and also between Hi and Lo.

Thanks!
Devin

Welcome to the forums.

It looks like a motor specifically designed for fan use. It's 120vAC only and two speed.
You connect your power cord to L1, L2 and ground.

You can use a switch to select hi or low speeds. If you don't want to use a switch to select speeds.... put a jumper from COM to Hi for high speed or from COM to LO for low speed.
