Is this a ceiling fan mountable junction box?

Hi all,
I am new to diy. I am planning to install a 44 in ceiling fan in one of my bed room. This room doenst have any ceiling fan currently. But i see a junction box in the ceiling. It had a cover plate on it. I opened it an took a picture. Attached is the same.

Is this box good enough to hold a ceiling fan.

Welcome to the forums.

That is a 4" metal nail on box. It is not a fan rated box.
Your problem there will be you need a metal fan rated box due to the incoming conduit.

On edit:
When i look again.... I see matching mounting screw holes in the back of the box.
Are there long screws there that go thru the front threaded areas and the back of the box ?
If so..... that is a fan rated box.

thanks for your help pete. Thats correct. there are two long screws that go through the front hole and all the way to the holes at the top of the box. I have marked those two holes in red arrows.

Your are good to go for a fan installation. Be sure to use those long screws when mounting the fan.
