Replace Dim Lighting Fan - Wiring?

First off, Yes I should have taken a pic of wiring from the fan I replaced. Unfortunately, I did not. My fault. Second I am not a handy man at all - I somehow lack that gene.
I am not sure now how to hook up. I tried so many different variations and got different results each time. Suffice to say this is why I am reaching out to the experts. I attached all pics. At this point I honestly do not know which way to go. Any help would be appreciated. Obviously the end result should be that the light and fan switch on the wall should control the dimmer light and fan speed. I know this works because my old fan, which had the same exact wiring, worked this way. Any help is appreciated. Thanks -

Welcome to the forums.

We can see a 14-2 w/gr and a 14-3 w/gr cable. That most likely means the two wire is the supply cable and the three wire goes down to the switch. This will be an easy wiring job but I need to see the connections at the switch.

The white of the two wire cable goes to fan white.
The black of the two wire cables goes to the color of the three wire that feeds the black of the switch.
The other two wires from the three wire cable are fan and light.

Thanks for your quick feedback. I uploaded some more pics. Maybe this will make it easier now. I will try what you suggested however. Again thanks much!
