3 way switch

Hey guys. Trying to install leviton wifi switch with coordinating leviton switch. Can’t figure it out. Main box has the neutral gang. If I install WiFi switch in main box: black hot to black, white neutral to white, red to red. Traveler yl/rd left empty. ( I know it required for 3 way but can’t get it to work). Then in other box braid red and black, white capped off. WiFi switch works perfect like this but I lose the second switch in this scenario. I want functionality of 3 way 2 switches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.

At box B the wiring is questionable. Black from #1 is tied to neutrals ???
There are three cables. You need to identify which one is the hot one..... either 1 or 3.
Cable 2 should be the three wire cable between switches.

Once you answer the question.... I'll supply the diagram.

3 is hot. I’m going to take down the light fixture and take pictures this Wednesday. Thank you for quick response. Happy Holidays all.

Wow. A perfect example of how not to wire a circuit. Very confusing.... and incorrect.

Looks like......
Cable in box A is #5 in box L
Cable 2 in box B is #4 in box L.
You said cable # 3 is hot. What is a mystery is what is cable 1 in box B. It's not the light.

I’ll tackle this again later next week. If I have to loose one switch so be it. One WiFi switch is all that is needed anyway. Just want to make sure my wiring is right.
