Removing wattage limiter (?) from ceiling fan.
I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. The lights suddenly stopped working. The fan still works as it should.
I replaced the light pull chain switch, but this did not help.
I read that the wattage limiter is the likely culprit.
I am attaching a few photos to find out which wires go where once the limiter is removed.
Photo 1: I had black wire #1 from the new switch connected to red wire #1 on the limiter. I had black wire #2 from the new switch connected to the black wire #2.
Photo 2: The blue wire #1 was connected to 3 black wires #2. I removed the blue wire. This is as far as I got.
How do I complete this little project? All help appreciated!
