type light? LED? CFL? Halogen?
Type of dimmer? LED/CFL compatible?
Flashing when on or when off?

Track lighting

the lights are led. The dimmer is led cfl compatible. They flash when on.

Compatible with LED is more magic than science. First try with non dimmer switch. If no flashing try different brand of dimmer.

One problem with LED bulbs and dimmers is that the bulbs don't supply enough of a load for the dimmer to stabilize. It's possible to hit or miss one that works better.

Better dimmers will be more stable with less flickering and dimming issues. I use the Lutron Maestro MACL for the most reliable dimming.

Two tracks should not be an issue.
