Recessed lighting problem

sorry if I am posting in the wrong place (first time poster) so here’s my problem. I have 2 pendant lights that I replaced some canned lighting with. There are 4 Lights total counting the 2 I replaced. Well one of my brackets failed on one of the pendant lights and dropped down and in a freak accident caused the hot black wire to touch the neutral white wire.

There was a “low pop” sound and all 4 lights shut off. When I went to flip the breaker I seen that none of the breakers were tripped. So I shut all breakers off and back on and still nothing. Then repeated the process and reset the main breaker as well yet still nothing.

All other appliences and electric in the in the house are working fine. It is just the 4 lights in question. I am very much a amateur when it comes to this. I can install a light or outlet without a problem but this is out of my league. I have flipped the breakers several times all to no avail. What am I missing here? How big of a mess am I in? I am hoping to rectify this problem myself and if not Monday looks like I’ll be calling a pro. Thanks in advance.

You need to check all the connections and redo any wire nuts. Failed connection may be at the switch. Is that where power comes in? Also have you read: https://www.doityourself.com/forum/e...ther-info.html
