Fan rated box?

We were told when we moved in that our house had fan-rated boxes in all the bedrooms. We've been going thru and replacing ceiling lights with ceiling fans and all of the boxes to date have been plastic boxes. This is the first metal box we've encountered and it seems to have two threaded rods that do not line with the fan bracket, and I've read somewhere that fan boxes do not have threaded rods. From looking more closely, there are screws mounting the box thru the top. This is a 1st floor fixture in a 2-story house, so no chance of looking at it from above. Any thoughts on if this is a fan box, and if so, what to do about the threaded rods? We're leaning toward just replacing it with a retrofit suitable box to be safe, as this is a big fan.

Although I don't recognize the mounting style of that box..... those two long bolts
suggest that it is a fan box.

If there is ever a doubt..... always best to replace the box.

Ok, literally as soon as I posted this, we found the label and scraped the paint off. It is a fan box rated to 70# ceiling fan, so... we're good there. The fan mounting bracket can generally align with the two long bolts already here, but we'd have to just secure with a nut from the bottom. Is that sufficient? All of our other installs we've been able to just screw into the corner holes thru the fan bracket. The two long bolts here preclude that (ex: if we line up to bolt into the other two corners, these two threaded rods interfere).

Any ideas?

For what its worth, the mounting bracket looks like this... There are two sides with small graduated sliding slots around the circle, and I can make the two threaded rods fit these but I'm not sure if this would even be acceptable mounting?

In the box that you posted.... the corner tabs would be for standard 8-32 screws and light loads. The two bolts should be heavier than 8-32.... typically 10-24. You would use lockwashers and nuts on them.

Your fan mount is typical and probably requires small washers to keep the nuts from pulling thru.

Ok - we've got the lock washers and nuts. We weren't sure since we couldn't affix at the "wings" of the mount... Most of the mounts we've used have been like this (and affixed on the "wings, without a center circular mounting option).
