Light control ( dusk to dawn )

will moisture in the eye cause the light to come on and off during the day ? I understand the seal failed and n the sensor. It’s brand new. But my question is will that moisture cause the light to come in and off during the day ?

Welcome to the forums.

If there is moisture on the inside of the eye.... the sensor has lost its seal and needs to be replaced.

Water in of itself is a poor conductor of electricity, but contaminants will make it conductive. Water or moisture in the electronics can cause the light to go on and off. As Pete says you need to replace the sensor.
