Unhappy Replacing a bathroom light with a fan/light combo (I'm confused)

[img]https://*******/qx0jNbXi was only expecting a black and white wire plus ground in the junction box. But there are many other wires.

The light would have only been connected to two locations. Connect your new light to the same two locations. The neutral(white) connection might have more than one wire. Leave them all together and add you new white.

Here's a pic of all the wires. This is my first time using this site so hopefully I'm posting right.

Welcome to the forums.

The picture posting is a little tricky at first. The sites you are using for your pictures may not be allowed here. You can post your pictures directly to the board...... otherwise let me know what site that is and I'll import them for you.

How-to-insert-pictures.
