LED retrofit for ~7" recessed light
I have several upstairs bedrooms with these 6.75" recessed cans: https://www.assets.lighting.philips....c3a87f01333b11
I would like to retrofit these to smaller diameter LEDs without having to do any drywall patch work.
Does anyone know of a ~5" LED retrofit where the trim/bezel portion is wide enough to cover a ~7" ceiling hole?
Ideally the LED has an adapter to screw into the existing can, and sits tight within the old can with springs or some other mechanism. If not, I'm fine removing the old can, hardwiring the LED to 120V and anchoring directly to ceiling drywall.
thanks.

I was thinking something like this would be ideal, but I don't think the "wings" are long enough to span a 6.75" inner diamater can. Maybe I can jury rig something to keep it fastened to the can.
