Need A Cover for This Light

Any idea where I could get a replacement glass for this fixture or could I make one maybe from some heavy plastic? Thanks.

If it's just the glass that's broken go to a hardware store that does glass cutting and have them cut another piece. Frosted or Clear. Is this for a bathroom? If so just be sure it's tempered glass or 1/4 thick plain glass so as to take the heat and steam.

No, it's not in a bathroom. Was thinking there is some heat loss with no cover on it or would that not be a concern? Attic is insulated.

Little or no concern. It should be covered with insulation within the attic crawl space. But yea a glass cover would help a little.

No need to insulate from downstairs then? The bulb is up about six inches.
