Ceiling fan removal

I want to replace a ceiling fan with a new dining light. I've removed most of the old fan housing but I'm left with the motor still attached to the ceiling. The only way I see this is possible is to remove the screws attached to the ceiling but I don't have a screwdriver to fit in there. IMO it seems the motor needs to be removed first but I can't figure out how to remove it. GRRR. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Disconnect the wiring to the motor. Pick up the motor and slide it to the left out of the ceiling bracket.
The motor is basically sitting there in a rubber block.

Have you tried just pushing up on the fan and then move it to the left.

If it starts to go undo all the wiring before completely removing the fan from the bracket.
I do not see a safety wire that would hold it up while you undo the connections.

I was typing as PJmax answered sorry for the duplication.
