A photo of what you are trying to reach would be useful.

Is your issue that you're unable to reach the bulb or that you can't grip the bulb?

Are there escutcheons, trim rings or bezels you can remove to have better access to the bulbs?

Sorry, but I don't follow. If the opening is too small for your fingers, how will you get the bulbs out?

Can you post a pic? Maybe you’re going about it wrong?

Get some heavy tape like electrical tape--the wider the better. Make a shape like this _|_ by sticking it together at the center and stick the "legs" to the face of the bulb. Grab the tab with thumb and forefinger, push up slightly against the bulb and twist it out.

Or put some double sided tape onto end of a large dowel or block of wood. Stick it to the face of the bulb and push up slightly and twist.

Is there a cover of some sort that unscrews? Seems if a hand can't fit in there, the bulb wasn't meant to be unscrewed first.
Can you describe what it is that the bulb is attached to, if you're unable to post a pic?
