Swapping switch for timer on bathroom fan
Hi
I'm trying to swap out the switch for a timer and I can't figure out which wire is which . The timer I bought says no neutral wire is required and only has 3 wires, red green and black.
There are 4 switches in my washroom, 3 controls lights and one controls fan. For the fan switch, there's one wire at the top of the switch and 2 at the bottom, one of which goes into the wall and other goes to switch beside it. The 2 wires are looped together and I am not sure if I need to cut it so I can connect them to the new wires on the timer switch.

Welcome to the forums.
The two wires near each other on the switch that are looped together need to stay looped together.
You may need to add a short piece of black wire to that splice to go to the timer.
Keep them together and connect to black of the timer. The single black connects to red of the timer.
The green is ground.
