I havve a ceiling light upstairs: [url=https://postimg.cc/4YRRtR1M][/url] It never had a shade, so I bought a new to me used one: [url=https://postimg.cc/yWRfRgr1][/url] The bulbs I had were to big for the shade to fit, so I went to the hardware store to get some smaller bulbs and a cap to secure the shade: [url=https://postimg.cc/gwY7GzYV][/url] The smaller bulbs allowed the shade to go onto the light and the cap was the right size, but the cap was smaller than the whole in the shade and therefore would not stay on. Back to the hardware store I went for a ring: [url=https://postimg.cc/8JjRN3xk][/url] The ring looked like it might work, but the ring is just thick enough that the cap won't go on. There's a flat 2.5" part on the bottom of the shade where it looks there should have been some kind of ring to hold the cap, but there wasn't anything at the hardware store. Is there some cap I can buy that will be big enough to cover the whole and perhaps the flat part on the bottom, but still thin enough to fit on the post? Thanks for any help.

I purchased a 4 ft LED shop light (5000 lumen) from Harbor Freight and found the light to be great, However,it comes with a chain and hook for mounting. I would like to know if you can remove the bulb from these LED lights and access the interior to screw them to the ceiling.
