Garage Lighting

Just finished assembling a wall hung storage system for my sister's garage. It has 2 30" base drawer units, the top of which is a good sized work area. I'm looking at lighting this area. I'm thinking a 48" strip light, maybe LED that will mount to the bottom of the upper wall cabinets above the work area. Needs to have a switch on it. My big question is how many lumens do I need to adequately light this area? Is it best to go with warm white or bright white lighting?

A single 48" LED tube in bright white would be good for plenty of work light.

Ive got 2 work benches that have been retrofitted with LED shop lights all mounted under the overhead cabinets.

5000k lumens, 48" fixtures, cool/brite white color.

They are fantastic to work under!

I also converted my welding table and sand blast cabinet, so nice to be able to see what your working on!
