Retro Fitting Torchiere Lamp

I am converting a Torchiere lamp using an 18w flush mount round LED light. It did not come with any wire nuts and I am not sure which ones I should use.

Torchiere lamps usually a small round quartz tube.
So we need to know what exactly you used as a replacement.
Leave us a link to that product or a picture..... How-to-insert-pictures.

Ok...... this.... should be what you have.

That runs on 120v.
Most Torchiere lights have a dimmer in them. You will probably have to bypass that dimmer as I don't think it's compatible with your new LED light.

The DYI video shows it working without any problem, also the seller on Amazon states it will work.

I just want to make sure I use the right wire nuts to connect the wires.

I must be looking at the wrong product because you are using a ceiling mount fixture on a free standing light.
Wire nuts are used to cover the wires to insure a safe connection and no shorts. Wirenuts are not supposed to be used hanging out in the air. They would be used in a splice box or contained area.

As far as what wirenuts to use.... there are many that will work fine.
The typical size would be orange with metal inserts.

Typical wirenut..... orange wirenut

No, you are looking at the right product. In case you are interested and have time, the video I found was on You Tube. Easily Convert a Halogen Torchiere Lamp to LED Panel Light Upgrade by Rhinsen 12/29/18.

Thanks for your input.

Always good to know I can find help on DYI.
