Ceiling fan questions in a mobile home.

Trying to figure out what I can do here. They didn't have a place to wire this in so it's on a plug. How does one correct this? I dont want this on an outlet.

Issue 2 I have another fan and it too is plugged in but the outlet is wired to a switch and the outlet is on the ceiling. I dont have a photo of this.

You need to investigate if you can run wire thru that box where the fan is mounted and then down the wall. In mobile homes it can be very difficult and sometimes impossible to get wiring thru the walls based on the insulation method used.

The only sure way you have of rewiring that fan is to use surface raceway. In the link is a picture of it and the fittings you can get for it as well as a fan kit are on the page.

It's a 1981 Fleetwood double wide. I really rather not remove the panelling.

I had a 70s model fleetwood single wide yrs ago and when I installed a ceiling fan in the living rm I added decorative lumber on the ceiling to help support the box and used raceway conduit to house the wire.
