Ceiling fan on an electric outlet rewire
My mother bought a house recently and it's a 1981 model double wide trailer. In this mobile home they put the ceiling fan up with an electrical outlet right at the ceiling fan. I'm not sure if this was standard for that time or not.
I have a second ceiling fan that has a similar set up but it was wired with a cable that goes down the side of a wall into an electrical socket.
my questions are as follows. For the second fan I would like to wire it up so that I could have it on a light switch instead of having wire to an electrical socket where I have to plug it in. Can I run cable into the wall and down to that socket and wire it in what all would I need to follow to make that safe? The second question is that is there a way for the first fan to not be on the electrical outlet? I don't know if this is a problem or not I'm just asking I really need to get the second ceiling fan on a switch.

Do you know how a double wire trailer is constructed ?
Have you ever tried getting wiring in the walls ?
Usually it's next to impossible to put any wiring in the walls due to construction and foam insulation.

Yes I'm quite aware of how they manufacture those. It's actually the bane of my existence but it is what it is. The wall that I'm looking at is hollow because it's part of a closet and Pantry. I've already did a little bit of research to make sure I could do this. So I will be taking off some of the paneling to get this fan installed properly I just need to make sure I'm doing it right.
