Sonoff Mini:Reversed Wall Switch Problem

Just installed a Sonoff Mini to operate front porch light on a schedule. It works great. Problem is when the wall switch is off the light is on and vice versa. I reversed the two in/out signal sensor wires but it didn't fix the problem. For now I have reversed the wall switch, it's upside down for aesthetics purpose to look normal down-is-off up-it's-on. Why is this situation reversed, how to correct this?

The switch on the left is upside down. It says OFF when it is up. Pull it out. Turn it over. Put it back in. The screws go on the right for UP to be ON.

It would be nice if they had a little more technical info and less "helpful" videos.

The wiring is pretty straightforward.
It appears that you need to be in "following" mode to get the switch to work correctly.

This is exactly how I have it connected. I am still stumped on how to implement following mode-may be it's the long day or the "helpful" videos. Will look at it tomorrow with a fresh mind. Thanx for the tip on following mode, who knew!

Try watching their installation videos. It may be explained in there.
I couldn't find any further info on it.

If all else fails..... use a three way switch. It's not marked with on or off. Use the dark common screw and one of the brass ones. Install it in the orientation where it works correctly.
