Are fan down rods and light kit mounts standard??

I have a basic 52 inch white Lowe’s Harbor Breeze fan mounted on a 3 foot down rod with a basic light kit. I want to replace it with a similar white Hunter fan. Are the down rods and light kit mounts standard so that I would not need to buy new ones and can just install them on the hunter fan? Thanks!

My guess is they are not. Each manufacture designs there own stuff. The only thing that might be standard would be the thread size. But I doubt the rod dia or finish or overall size will match.

The downrods are usually interchangeable.
The light kits are not.

Light kits are interchangeable in my experience. If a molex connector is used you might need to remove it and splice the wires.
