How to remove base of light fixture that was snapped off a lamp post?
Hello! Could someone help us to figure out how to remove the rest of the base of the light fixture that was attached to this lamp post? It was snapped off accidentally by a neighborhood kid. We're hoping to keep the pole and buy a new light fixture to attach.

Welcome to the forums.
Look closely at the collar that slips on the pole. There may be set screws in it.
A pole light fixture will come complete and ready to drop on to an open pole.

All your photos are of the upper part of the fixture where it broke. What we need to see is the base of the fixture where it meets the pipe. Most, like Pjmax mentioned have a screw. You can see the little bump on the left of Pj's photo. That's the screw.
The screw and the fixture are likely corroded and painted firmly onto the post. So, even after you remove the screw the fixture might not budge. In that case wiggle, twist and tap until it breaks free. Start light and work up in strength until it yields. I sometimes put a block of wood under the bottom lip of the fixture and hammer on the wood to drive the fixture off the post.
Does your fixture or post have a access panel for the wiring? If not make sure you support the fixture when you get it off the post as you want to unhook the wiring without damaging it.
