I just tried to change three way light regular light switch to a motion detector one and do not see the same terminals on the new one so not sure how to wire it.
Here are pictures of the old one and the new and would appreciate someone explaining to me how I wire the new one.
Thank you.

That switch looks like a 4w switch. It would be between two 3w switches.
If that switch has four screw terminals on it..... not including a ground screw... then it's a 4w switch. You'd need to go to one of the other two switches controlling that circuit or that circuit would need to be rewired.
Within a 65' set of string lights, I have 2 bulbs that are recently temperamental.
New bulbs, ease up the center electrode, steel wool the bulb and light socket, has worked for a couple weeks then this morning, they are both out!
It was cold last night but what the heck else can be done!
I purchased a new bathroom light fixture, and I had to use a pan box. The mounting location ended up being directly over a stud. I haven't installed too many light fixtures, and I have a few questions.
1. This particular fixture has two wirenut pigtails. I'm not sure why they just didn't use longer wires. My understanding is that these need to sit in the pancake box and not the canopy portion. Will this cause an issue with box fill? Am I allowed to remove the pigtails and eliminate those wirenuts, or will that impact UL listing?
2. When I screw in the mounting bracket for the fixture, it is pushing against the NM cable that enters the pancake box. Is this a concern? It was really the only knockout that I could use.
I've posted pictures below. Note - I didn't connect any grounding wires yet, but I know that the pan box and mount both have to be grounded.
