Need help Connecting a motion sensor with my outdoor light
I want to see if anyway I can put a motion sensor and connect with this light set for motion. This light will be front of my driveway. I see they have switch but those are plugins right into the outlet. I assume for this set I need to have the motion sensor facing the driveway and somehow have the wiring in-between the power and the light. I am using a contractor but he is not sure how to do this. So I am here for advice what I can do.

Canopy/Backplate: 8.500"H x 4.500" W
That is basically a house mount. What are you going to attach it to ?
It's too wide for a 4x4 post.
Or are you planning on installing it on the house facing the driveway ?
Is there a box currently installed there ?

I'm not sure what you can use as the motion sensor part but this can be done. I was able to link my ring camera motion sensors to trigger hue bulbs to turn on then off with the smartthings app. It was pretty easy that way.
