Ceiling fan and light fixture on same switch

I replaced a light fixture and ceiling fan in my kitchen. I swapped the locations of the fan and light and wired the same as existing fixtures. The new light is a flush mount led fixture. When I first turned the light switch on everything seemed to work correctly, but when I turned the fan’s built in light off from the pull cord, the separate light fixture dimmed. Seems like the separate light fixture isn’t getting full power if the fan isn’t either the fan or fan’s light isn’t on. I did not have issues with the previous fixtures.

Welcome to the forums.

Not much to go on there. We don't know what you have for wiring or what you changed.
Pictures or diagrams of wiring can be very helpful...... How-to-insert-pictures.

Even a verbal description may help.
Do you just have a white and black wire at both locations ?
Are there multiple cables (not wires) where the connections could have become changed ?
