FEIT Wifi Smart Dimmer Switch Install - Help Needed
Hello,
We are wanting to replace a broken dumb dimmer switch with a FEIT wifi smart dimmer switch in a 3-pole setup. We are a bit confused on how to wire it up.
We will attach images and hope that will help.
We plan to keep the one standard light switch at one end of the hall and install the smart dimmer at the other end of the hall to control two light sconces.
Any help in making sense of this install will be greatly appreciated! Wiring diagram for electrical box where we want to install the smart dimmer. We wired the smart dimmer up (notes on how we wired it are included in the diagram). The switch powers up and can be turned on / off from the other light switch, but the light fixtures do not turn on / off. How the previous "dumb" dimmer was wired. Diagram of the single light switch at other end of the hall. Single light switch on 3-way setup Product model number. Feit's installation instructions.

In order for it to make sense we must see all the connections clearly.
Your diagrams don't look correct.
I see a two wire and a three wire cable in the first box but can't see all the splices.
You said you're using the black wire on the left to dimmer AC-L. That means that black wire is hot. If that is correct.... the white should be the dimmer neutral.
I see another two and three wire cable in the second box. Can't see the colors in that splice.
Looks like a white wire is missing.
Your diagram shows red, white and black connected. That's not right.
We updated the diagram of the single light switch and added an image of it from another perspective...hopefully that makes it more clear.
The red, black and white wires weren't actually connected together as indicated in our first diagram...they are connected to the light switch terminals. Our apology for the confusion.
You are correct. It does look like a white wire is missing on the right side of the box...it's just a black and ground wire coming out of that cable. There is a light switch in the bedroom on the other side of that hall wall...maybe that has something to do with the missing white wire?
Regarding the dimmer switch box: We see the same thing that you are seeing...a two wire and three wire cable. We do have the black wire on the left to the dimmer AC-L (as that appeared to be how it was wired on the previous dimmer switch). You wrote that the white should be the dimmer neutral. That's how we currently have it set up...the white wire on the right is connected to the dimmer neutral.
The white wire from the left cable is spliced to the black wire from the right cable via a wire nut.

We tried wiring the black wire on the left to AC-L and the red wire on the right to LOAD on the smart dimmer switch. The light would turn on momentarily and then shut off right away.
At this point, we're not sure what other configuration would be correct and have capped all wires and tucked them back into the electrical box until we can figure this up.
We are wondering if the white and black wires that are tied together need to be connected to the switch in some way.
Updated pictures of the electrical box wiring attached.

Reason: New info obtained
Ive recently replaced some 3 way light switches in the home and had zero issues after some help from YouTube. I went to replace another light switch which controls my hallway lights keep in mind 3 light switches control hallway lights that is when i came across this switch(pictures attached). Just a bit confused due to 2 wires going to one screw is this considered a 4 way switch? Could not find anything similar to this at hardware store.

I have a Harbor Breeze LP8146 that can only be controlled by wireless remote and I want to switch it our so i can control it by Lutron Caseta light and fan controls. Currently the Black and white lines go into the wireless control and come back out as pink, gray, yellow (these three are fan controls I think) green (ground) white (common) and blue (light). I've read other posts for how to split the gray/pink/yellow to make it control the fan but they have required a capacitor but I'm not sure on the size. the other thing that I can't figure out is a second gray wire (its actually a black and white wire wrapped in gray) that comes out of the remote and bypasses the main connector and goes straight into the housing. I've attached pictures of the relevant pieces. Let me know if you have any thoughts on how to split this out so I can run it to two switches.
