how to remove my ceiling fan

I have this ceiling fan I want to replace. I was painting the ceiling and didn't cover it. it has some paint.
from reading youtube, it seems that ceiling should have a decorate cover that you can easily remove it.
but I when I use screw driver to pry mine, it doesn't come off easily. I don't see any screws around either.
any tips on how to remove this ceiling fan?

That looks like a Hampton Bay canopy.

Pry that ring down/off where the red arrow is.
There should be two screws under it that will release the canopy.

Thank you so much PJmax . I'm glad I didn't pry too hard from top and would have damaged everything.
even after I pried off the bottom ring, I don't see screws. please see this image

Hmmmm..... then the trim ring at the very top of the canopy turns.
You may have to cut the paint between the canopy and the ceiling.

A possible helpful video

Just an update. It is the top ring. I had to pry a bit harder to detach it.
