Hello. I need a florescent lens cover to match the picture. It doesn't however exactly go on the florescent fixture...it's customized to sit on a quarter round box frame below the light a few inches.
It is white plastic, with 1/2 inch square holes as in the attached pic. I need about 36" x 13".
What you are looking for is called egg crate plastic. Available many places on line and at all the home improvement stores. It comes roughly 2' x 4' so you will need to cut it. You can use sharp wire cutters to cut at the cross pieces.
I picked up an old fiber optic lamp today but realised when I got it home that the ends of the fiber optic cable don’t glow, only the central part. It is the traditional silver ball base with the tiered fiber optic top. Have tried playing around with it but I don’t have a complete understanding of how they operate. It looks clean but would cleaning the fibers help transmit the light better? Any other tips to help? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm trying to install a new light fixture in my bathroom however the "universal" mounting bracket provided doesn't seem to allow me to orient it the way I need it with my junction box. The bracket has tabs that must be perfectly horizontal in order for the fixture to be level. The junction box only has holes oriented perfectly up/down and right left, while the holes in the bracket only have holes slightly adjacent to those positions. Here are some pictures for reference:

I'm just curious how I'm supposed to solve this? Is my junction box installed incorrectly? Or is the mounting bracket provided just bad? I can't replace the bracket because those tabs are needed for securing the fixture. So do I need a cross beam bracket for my bracket?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
