I recently installed a Lutron Motion Sensor light switch in my laundry room and like the way it works. Now, I'm thinking about installing one in my 2-car garage. The garage is a much larger space than the laundry room. The original toggle switch that would be replaced is about 4' above floor level. In contrast to my laundry room, which has no ambient light sources, the garage has the two single garage doors, which both have garage door openers with lights that come on when the doors are opened or closed; I believe both stay on for 5 minutes. And, of course, sunlight flows into the garage during daylight hours when the garage doors are open. Just wondering whether the Lutron Motion Sensor will work without issues in this scenario.

Yesterday, I bought an LED lighting fixture to install in a bathroom. The brand of the fixture is Progress Lighting; model # 805311, and it's called Mini Flushmount. When I opened the box and looked at the informational sheet that was in the box, I saw a dimmer compatibility list that included five Lutron dimmer switches, but the Lutron dimmer I have is not on the list. I was surprised to see this compatibility list, and dismayed that my switch was not on the list. I guess this seems particularly odd because I have a Progress Lighting vanity light connected to my Lutron dimmer switch and this seems to work fine. So, I'm wondering whether to go ahead and install this Mini Flushmount fixture and see how it works, or not install it and just return it to Lowe's.
