Under cabinet lighting

I want to replace my rope lights under my kitchen cabinets with the light bars and wasn’t sure what size I should get. The sections under my cabinets are two 24” spaces and two 54” sections. Are you suppose to fill The Whole space ?

You would want to fill everything if your looking for the constant flow of light similar to the rope lighting, or, sections that are spaced evenly so the light "spots" on the counter top are even.

More noticeable when you have counters that are shiny, like granite, you can see the lights easily.

Look into LED tape lighting. It can be cut to whatever length you need and is lower profile than light bars. The adhesive back sticks the tape lighting in place so installation is super easy.
