Light Switch controls two outlets

I have a light switch that controls two outlets. Is there any way to have one outlet "hot" all the time?
The duplex outlets only have 2 conducting wires and ground.

Welcome to the forums.

Are you saying that both of the receptacles you want to convert from switched to always live have only one cable present ? One cable is one white wire and one black wire plus ground.

If both sides of the duplex receptacle are on the switch and there is only one cable (one black wire, one white wire and one ground wire) feeding the receptacle, it sounds like this would only be possible by running another cable. That said, I have never seen a setup like I described so hopefully I misunderstood something.

It might be possible if you can find the other end of the cable feeding the switched receptacles. It could be in the switch box.
