Please Help Identify Name/Type of Cord's End Plug (One Flat / One Cylindrical)
Hello, Hoping someone may be able to help me by providing the technical name of the type of small plug circled in green in attached photo?
I need to acquire a new one of these with some cord length attachhed and in order to shop for it I need to know what the name of that type of plug is where one prong is flat and one prong is cylindrical.
Looks like a special connection for that specific appliance. I did a GOOGLE image search and nothing comes close to it.
What is the appliance? You may need to go directly back to the manufactuer.
It's an indoor/outdoor lamp, and the the plug I'm asking about plugs into the transformer (also pictured) and the transformer then plugs into the socket. I don't think the lamp is traceable to its manufacturer it has no label on it and looks light it was made by a small producer.
Thank you Pjmax and everybody for all help and input, appreciate it very much. I can mow proceed to order the plug and repair the lamp, keeping it from landfill! Way to go!
I have two ceiling fans in my living room. The room itself has 14-foot ceilings and the fans are on 3-foot down rods. Right now, the receivers are at the very top of the fans, basically in the ceiling and this makes them very, very difficult to reach. At present, the way that the receivers are set, they have to be wedged under the caps at the top of the down rods and are extremely hard to get in place and install. I was wondering, is there any reason I couldn't just run standard insulated electrical wire down the rod and connect the receiver closer to the fans? That would make working in there a lot easier and both fans have upper and lower lights, and the receivers are about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It seems like this would be better moving forward.
Hello,
I have a few F. lights in my basement. It's very hard to turn them on when in summer since it's pretty humid. As winter comes, everything is back to normal. I suspect the ballast be the culprit but not sure. Btw, I have T12 for now based on the size of the balbs. I need to make sure before replacing the ballast.
I have 6 lights, each has 2 balbs. 3 of them are good and the other 3 are not.
The sockets and the ends of the balbs are cleaned and no issues with connection.
Please let me know if more info needed.
Thanks in advance.
