light fixture that attaches directly to electrical box?
I have an electrical box in the attic that had this light fixture attached to it. The bulb broke off in the fixture and while trying to remove the leftover piece of the bulb, I damaged the fixture it screws into (red arrow points to burn mark). The ceramic housing seems ok. Can I replace the fixture w/o replacing the ceramic portion? What is that part called?
Is there a more modern fixture I should use for this attic application that will screw directly to an electrical box?
I have an attic exhaust fan thermostat and I was wondering if I could wire it to a receptacle to control a plug-in fan. I would like for it to come on and off when it is set to a certain temperature. This will be used in a small outside building.
Hi, I am trying to remove this push switch light socket from its metal shell but I can't see how. Any ideas?
It's an old art deco headboard lamp. There is nothing to unscrew...
